Kuhn Global Blue Screen – (2022) 1:650 Star Trek: Nemesis – Enterprise 1701-E (2007 Cast #001, Incarnation #004) in The Albert Siow Collection

As stated in October 2007, and again in December 2012: This 41 inch model was mastered by Richard Long in 2005-2006. This was the very first cast kit from his patterns. Though it was the first cast in the world of this model kit, it was the third to be built and finished. The first two (Casts #002 and #003) were built and finished by ILM artist John Eblan, under his company banner of “The FX Company”.

What a story this model has… and now, with it’s complete re-build by artist Dan Grumeretz, I hope this to be it’s final representation as a part of the Albert Siow Collection.

As the story goes: The first Kuhn Global build, using Cast #001 (which I refer to as “Incarnation #001), was first painted in 2007 to replicate the USS Enterprise we viewed in Star Trek: Nemesis...

Kuhn Global KIT UN-BOXING – Dynamic Digital Creations 1/1930 (HALF STUDIO SCALE or 29.5″/ 75cm) Battlestar Galactica BSG-75 Kit!

Hello everyone! It is well to see Modelers Miniatures & Magic again showing new content! Thank you to Chris Dye and his team!! I am pleased to say that I too shall be adding to what will be shown.

Just before I retired from Modeler Magic (back on May 31, 2021), I received a few new kits to unbox, not having the opportunity to do so until today. I am excited to do so, especially now that MMM is running at full speed once more.

I am pleased to show a kit that has been out for months now, yet still is highly anticipatory to many model builders and fans alike. From Dynamic Digital Creations, we have the 1/1930 BSG-75. In the title I state it is “half studio scale” only because it is to scale with the half studio scale Battlestar Galactica TOS Kit that Mike Salzo had released years ago now...

Kurt Kuhn’s Farewell to Modeler Magic,… and His Thanks to Everyone for Many Wonderful Years!

On this beautiful Memorial Day morning I am reminded of so many amazing things, and how grateful I am of everything and everyone. I wish to thank all who have served in the capacity of helping others. I especially thank those who have given their life, and thank their families as well, in doing so. I honor you all, and I shall never forget what you have provided to us. Our world needs you as the Heroes you are. No matter where you may live, if you have served in this capacity, giving all to help others, “Thank you” is simply not enough to express how I feel about you and the sacrifices you have made for us.

That stated, not everyone may be cut from the cloth of a “protection” type of service that is recognized on this day in my own country...

R.L. Bleecker (2008) – MSLZ22 Models – BATTLESTAR GALACTICA – Four Studio Scale COLONIAL VIPERS – Built in 2008 for the Kuhn Global Collection

These Colonial Vipers WIP’s were originally shown here on Modelers Miniatures & Magic back on February 27, 2009 and is now updated to today’s showing standard! Built by artist R.L. Bleecker, these four Studio Scale Colonial Vipers were built from the then NEW V2 Studio Scale kit mastered and offered from Mike Salzo (MSLZ22 Models) and artist Mike Reis. This new V2 kit was created to correct the studio scale size and detail that had been lost in the generational shrinkage of resin copies over the years, well away from what was utilized for the ICONS Replicas release so long ago. Mike & Mike did marvelous work in recreating the amazing replicas in kit form.  And.. artist R.L...

Paul Dilts – Bandai – STAR WARS – TWO 1/72 T-70 X-Wings RED 2 & RED 3 (With “A New Hope” Paint Schemes)

As John Cleese would say “..and now for something completely different” –

I bought these 2 Bandai (TINY) 1/72 scale T-70 kits real cheap and I had no idea what to do with them since I’m not a fan a the blue color. I decided to go back to “A New Hope” Red Squadron paint scheme, which may be in a different Galaxy far, far, away…

I took the 2 pilots, R2, R4 from my other Bandai kits lying around and used them instead of Poe/BB-8. I made Red 2 and Red 3. Why, you may ask? I don’t know. There is no lighting on these either as I just wanted to keep it simple. I spent waaaaay to much time on my MPC x-wing build.

I am sorry it’s a bit photo heavy! The lighting in my house is awful so I did a few different photo shoots around the house...

TWO Kuhn Global KIT UN-BOXINGS – Dynamic Digital Creations 1/17 Viper MK 2 and 1/17 T-70 X-Wing Kits

Before we get started, I wanted everyone to know that I considered doing these two Kits unboxing’s on video. I decided that it better serves the art form to be able to see up close each part that comes in these kits, appreciating the great craftsmanship and work that went into bringing them to reality. Also of note is that what I receive from an artist may not be the same as what you may receive. Simply stated, the GK industry is still working out the kinks of constant quality control and professionalism therein. We are always striving to improve the art form. So.. with these photos below, allow your eyes to determine what you know.

Back on February 10, 2021 I had the honor of receiving two of my kit orders from Tony Celliers, Dynamic Digital Creations...
