As some of you may know, I have spent a great deal of time researching the smaller 14″ Y wing (made for ROTJ), and I’ve also been slowly working on a small run of them which I’ll be offering fully completed.
This however, is something a little bit different. While making the engine masters I made a huge mistake and placed my support area for the wings in the incorrect location inside the engine cans. This wasn’t noticed until my good friend Ed Francais had mold and cast said cans. Obviously this meant having to correct this one, and the masters. As not one to waste things, I removed the incorrect mount points, created new ones, and decided to create a Gold 2 from the generic ROTJ replica patterns I created which Ed then cast in resin.
