Dae Choi – Disney’s Hollywood Studio 1/140 Hollywood Tower of Terror Miniature

I built my favorite attraction at Walt Disney world. The Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studio. It’s paper construction with some interior and lights. I also put in a working elevator. It’s about 1/140 scale and nice to look at.

Dae Choi’s 1/15 (65″) NAUTILUS Submarine Upper Section

Staying home gave me a time to build a Disney’s Nautilus from 20,000 League under the Sea. It is one of my favorite of all time. I build it out of paper and upper section only but it’s 65 ” long. (about 1/15 scale)
I hope you like it.

Take care and stay healthy.

Jeff Bond / Davis Nelson – 1979 Disney Film – The Black Hole – 40″ CYGNUS

This is a 3D printed, 40″ long reproduction of the Cygnus spaceship from Disney’s 1979 movie The Black Hole. The 3D parts were designed and produced over a span of around two years or so by a modeler named Dave Nelson who went by Primitive Dave on Shapeways.com where he made the parts available. I kept in touch with Dave while he was producing the parts and he also made available schematics for an acrylic armature that the Cygnus frame parts fit over in order to support the “soft and flexible” 3D printed parts and allow for the interior to be illuminated. Unfortunately Dave disappeared shortly after completing the parts and actually before working out the final details of the front of the armature...

The Collection Room and Works of Jon Schumann

I have been a long time viewer of Modeler Magic and thought I would submit some of the things that I have created over my modeling career. Here is a general look at my current collection. Most of the larger ships are all built from scratch. The lit builds are from kits, and I have a lot of Hasbro toy mods in there as well. Also, I have a few Randy Cooper models and other garage kits. I wanted to scratch build pieces that are unique and not found in many other collections.
Thank you,
Jon Schumann

COMING SOON!! eFX Collectibles Studio Scale (47.5 Inch!) Imperial Star Destroyer DEVASTATOR Replicas… and TESTED! Video Interview

“TESTED!” Norman Chan interviews eFX representative, artist Steve Neisen, at the San Diego Comic Con on the upcoming studio scale Imperial Star Destroyer DEVASTATOR release. It is an exact replica of the model seen at the beginning of Star Wars in 1977, and of which can be viewed at the LAUNCH BAY’s of both Disneyland in California, and Disney World’s Hollywood Studio. After receiving an email from eFX stating future releases (of which this was one) I thought we would show all we could about this fantastic effort here on Modeler Magic. This video was edited by myself to show only the Star Destroyer upcoming eFX offering.
I wish to thank eFX and Steve Neisen for what they are offering, and TESTED for recognizing this great work...
