This fantastic piece was built from an amazing kit by Utah’s SpaceMind Modeler himself, Jared Bronson! Building it as Commander Adama’s  Fighter from the Cylon Wars under his Call Sign “HUSKER” was an easy decision, because it is one less done in the modeling world today. Jared’s weathering on this piece is absolutely perfect. Many believe the Vipers should be clean. But viewing the actual CG model renders of what was actually used in the series, the ‘dirty’ look is what most were like as the series ran it’s course. Beautiful in every detail.

After receiving an email from Frank Winspur of MOEBIUS MODELS asking if I had access to reference of the MK VII Landing Gear, I immediately called a few people that always come through. Frank Cerney, Morton Moeslund and Jared Bronson. Frank and Moe had the CG model renders (designed by Eric Chu) for the gear, while Jared Bronson (of SpaceMind Modeler) came through with these photos of the full sized prop used for the movies and series Battlestar Galactica. The photos were taken at the auction. All the reference material then went to industry famed master artist Gary Kerr to blueprint for the kit...

Built from the fantastic TimeSlip Creations kit, extremely talented artist Jared Bronson once again shows us why so many utilize his talents for commission work! This beautiful piece is stunning with the weathering Jared placed upon it to resemble the battle damaged version of the new series Galactica. I especially like the way he did the enclosed landing bay for the museum area the ship had in the beginning! Another fine piece from Jared Bronson of Spacemind Modeler!

Well, it is finally done! Timeslip Creation’s Sci-Fi channel’s Battlestar Galactica model kit in 1/4105 scale. The finished kit will is 13.75″ long and is in scale with ALL of my Battlestar ships. Kit’s are ready to ship. The kit will be about 30 pieces. 16 of them will be turrets! The pattern was done by Coby Lorang and Scott Spicer. The decals will be supplied by JT Graphics.

Built from the fantastic TimeSlip Creations 13 inch kit, artist Jared Bronson (of Spacemind Modeler) did an excellent job recreating the Big G as she is seen after a battle with the Cylons! A beautiful build from a fantastic kit! Kudos to all involved!
