This amazing creation by artists Jason Eaton, Josh Maruska and André Bustanoby is simply outstanding. Much work went into this to make it the accurate X-Wing you see today. It is immediately very rare, and thus extremely valuable, as it’s cast numbers may be only 10, and each will be built by Jason himself for only a few lucky individuals. This miniature has so much more to read and view of. Take note of the tapered edge on the rear of the X-Wing fuselage… perfect! Here is my X-Wing Studio Set cockpit in 1/24 – Just finished several days of micro level work on this. Helping out on this project with Jason Eaton. Jason used his amazing decals and his printed cockpit. The 3D work and modeling by Joshua Maruska and André Bustanoby is absolutely ‘out of this world’. Even though a lot of my construction defects are seen in the photos, they kind of disappear in person,.. as this stuff is REALLY TINY.

Having had access to the original X-Wing, and the Lucasfilm Archives, artist’s Jason Eaton, Josh Maruska, and Andre Bustanoby, are creating one of the most beautiful X-Wings I believe I have seen to date. They are creating this by utilizing the digital build, and then 3D Printing the parts to make both the 1/24 scale and 1/12scale physical models! Improving upon the original studio scale model “look”, they are adding in an amazing new Cockpit and Pilot figure. We will show more on this amazing X-Wing Project as they move forward with it.
