This is another Commission Build. I started out Cleaning all of the parts using warm water and a few drops of dish detergent to remove any mold release. To make sure I had good adhesion for the primer cote, every thing was lightly scuffed wit a scotch bright pad. I used Vallejo acrylic primer thinned slightly and sprayed through the airbrush for a good base to start laying down paint. All of the lighting was installed prior to painting and I added light to the officers lounge windows on the neck of the ship and to the shuttle bay windows in the aft section. Aztec Dummy vinyl masks were used to create the tricolor green pattern which was airbrushed using Tamiya acrylic paints...

I recently completed work on the BanDai “Boosted” T-70 X-Wing model. It sits alongside the 1/72 scale Millennium Falcon that I had done last year. Both models are on display at the Willis Hobby shop in Long Island, NY.
I think I achieved some good weathering effects on the model and I am quite pleased with the results that I think really show the level of detail that I tried to achieve. The close up photo shows a great worn effect that I did using a simple dry brushing technique. Most of the burn marks and engine exhaust were done using my Badger Sotar 20/20 fine detail airbrush. A light dusting of pastel was done to give the craft a slightly dirty appearance and everything was locked down with a final flat clear cote...

This is my recent 1/72 scale BanDai Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon Model Commission. I hope the readers following the Modelers Miniatures & Magic Gallery Site enjoy the build as much as I did working on it. The build was awarded 3rd place best vehicle special awards in the most recent New Jersey Fest Model show.

This is my High Elf Griffon Miniature Build up. This is from Warhammer Games Work Shop. The model consists of the Griffon and the Elf Knight rider. The rock and pedestal base is. My own design and construction. The rock is hand carved from foam board and painted using an acrylic paint layering process with the addition of snow and Ice and miniature shrubs. The display sits on a wood pedestal painted in satin black and accented in copper trim around the bottom. This would be a handsome piece to add in any true collector’s show case.
