Magnificent! That is what I think out loud when I view this piece by Jason Eaton. Originally made from digital files by known artist Sean Corsini, this eventually was made into a physical studio scale kit that Jason then highly detailed to be like the original studio model… which is 1/5 scale. This piece is the exact sized used by ILM for Star Wars. Jason actually added more detail, making this piece to look more like the full sized prop…. and I love it! Beautiful work by Jason Eaton!

Collector and friend Michael Plante emailed me the photos of his recently delivered Cylon Base Ship replica from the 1978 film Battlestar Galactica! Canadian artist Sean Corsini (of Northern Shipyards) crafted this piece from top to bottom, even the middle interior has a squadron of Cylon Raiders inside that can be seen if one looks closely enough. Michael is thrilled with this piece as I know I too would be if it were in the collection here. Beautiful!!

Michael Plante has just been delivered the beautiful Cylon Base Ship that was built for him by known Canadian artist Sean Corsini. What a fantastic build! I am jealous Michael!
