Once again photographed by Kimber Collins, this studio scale Y-Wing was SCRATCH BUILT by Michael Blaisdell! Of course I am thinking back to the good ol’ days where the equation was…. scratch build + Y-Wing = Bill George, but in this case it is Michael that did so in modern day as opposed to well over 30 years ago. I believe there may be only a handful of artists (well maybe two handfuls) that have done such a thing. And, if I remember Michael’s email to me correctly, this scratch build was done BEFORE the MR studio release as well as the NICE-N Models kit release years ago now. This looks remarkable! Very nicely done!
