I wanted to share with you my latest completed kit. It’s the latest release from Lasse Henning of Norway…his studio scale Bespin Twin Pod Cloud Car. The kit’s a beast, in a most fantastic way. And he created it old school style by scratch building the master by hand and then creating and pouring the molds. I just had to get one of these already having purchased his Vader Tie Fighter (seen in my area on your site) some years ago. This Cloud Car kit has been logically designed for easy completion. The parts have virtually no flash and only minor clean up was necessary. Each cockpit has been left open for the builder to do with as they want...

Artist Lasse Henning’s works have been admired for decades now, and I wanted to re-show some of his older works…like this Studio Scale PLUS (which I refer to as MEGA-SCALE). This piece is absolutely stunning,..as is all Lasse produces. He amazes me!

In June 2009, famed artist Lasse Henning created an amazing kit in 1/18 scale! Of note: This 1/18 size I have always referred to as “Super Scale”, with anything larger as being “Mega Scale”. When I first came into this art form, one of the first artists I came to appreciate and watch frequently was Lasse Henning. His work inspired nearly everything I have in the collection today that has been created by equally appreciated and fantastic artists world-wide. Lasse has always amazed me with his work, and continues to do so today. I have known him now for two decades (20 years), and my jaw still drops when he creates something new. We had originally shown this beautiful model here on Modelers Miniatures & Magic back on August 19, 2009...

Artist Lasse Henning has inspired million of our world viewers for a very long time now… including myself. I saw this showing from 2009 and thought it may be great to bump to 2020! Lasse always has fun while building… which accounts for the passion we view in each creation he produces. This one is no different. And it looks like Lars was visiting at one point as they normally did model making together back then. What a fantastic creation this is!

Years and years ago now, The Model Shop’s own Lasse Henning accomplished something not many in the world had done before… he made his own studio scale Rebel Blockade Runner from 1977’s STAR WARS! Modeler Magic had shown updates of this piece before, and today I am following up with the final piece. This piece is beautiful, and as always… inspiration to millions of our viewers world-wide. I have been a fan of Lasse for two decades, and I even have his work on display here in the collection. Enjoy his photos of this amazing build, and the videos which are very well done, and informative! Outstanding!

I have followed his work for decades, and even commissioned his talents for pieces still on display here today. This Rebel Transport simply shows his great talents once more in the refreshed showing from early 2009.

It is fantastic to view the progress photos! You may also recognize a guest in these photos… artist Lasse Henning, who lives close by in the Star Wars famed area of Oslo, Norway. Both artists were involved with “The Model Shop”.

Originally shown on the Professional Model Maker Forum…Resin Illuminati, then here on Modeler Magic back on 3/31/2009, this piece scratch built by artist Lasse Henning is stunning! So much so that I thought I would refresh our showing of this piece. Utilizing the work of Star Wars (and many other films) Concept artist Ryan Church, Lasse captured the true essence of Fighter in his build of it. Beautiful!
