I thought I would submit some images of my latest kit bash. I have designated it the Starfleet Quasar Class- USS Enterprise NCC-1701-F. She is an early 25th Century Exploration Vessel. The bash consists of a Revell 1/677 USS Voyager, Revell 1/500 JJ-Prise, and an AMT 1/1400 Enterprise E. A lot of the parts have been modified and re-sculpted. She is scaled to be 1/1400 and at almost 27″ long she is a biggie. I wanted this ship to the biggest Federation Ship to date. Mainly because she is an exploration vessel but also so she has some teeth in unknown hostile situations.

I recently completed a hybrid customization of 3 of the Round 2 AMT USS Defiant NX-74205 kits. I fused three kits together to make one that I felt looked more like the studio model.

Artist George Winder has returned with this beautiful build of the Defiant! Anyone who has built this Ertl kit knows that it doesn’t fit together very well and is a great challenge to make it look as it should. George did a great job with it!

Built from the outstanding Fine Molds kit, artist George Winder made a beautiful piece from this tiny, 8 inch model! His detailing is fantastic for it being so small! A wonderful piece!

When I first viewed this diorama, I couldn’t help except to greatly smile! Talented modeler George Winder took the beautiful KORBANTH 38 inch Super Star Destroyer kit, built it up and placed in in the middle of his own asteroid field along with scaled Star Destroyers surrounding it! A wonderful display! So wonderful, in fact, that I had to take a try to place it in the scene we all know well…. (using his photos) and I did, albeit not as good as my mentors could do. George’s build looked so wonderful it fit right in. Great job George! I hope my composite of your SSD makes you smile in return.
