This diorama by artist Kenneth Gogan is wonderful! This was actually shown on Modelers Miniatures & Magic back on March 31, 2009. We have seen a few Hoth Battle dioramas and it is always great to see the different aspects that artists place into them. Ken scratch built the small Snowspeeders to be in scale with the MPC Imperial Walker (AT-AT) Kits. I love smoke coming from Luke’s crashed Snowspeeder. Beautifully done!
It is based off of the Mobeus kit and has self contained battery power hidden in the cockpit. Engines , nacels, front marker lights, side nav lights , all light up. Can be mounted from the bottom or the rear for display. Switch is hidden in the model and can be activated by inserting a pin into a hole located in the details of the engine nacel. Asking price is $600 plus shipping.

Kenneth Gogan is back with this outstanding scratch and bash of a Colonial Rag Tag Fleet vessel! It really fits right in to the Galactica Universe as we know it. The detail is supreme as is the style of design. A great piece by Kenneth Gogan!

Using Revell kits of the Viper and Cylon Raider, master modeler Kenneth Gogan did this beautiful diorama build for a friend and client! As shown earlier on this Gallery, the Viper was made to be that of Zak Adama’a from TOS and movie Battlestar Galactica… where Zak and Apollo find an armada of Cylon’s ready to wipe out the Human race under a banner of peace. Needless to say… as Zak’s high engine is damaged, he ends up being the first casualty of the battle. Shown here, flying low above a rocky basin (built by modeler Mike Stewart) Zak looks back in fear as his final moments come down to none. This beautiful piece was built by master modeler Kenneth Gogan from the outstanding kit which was mastered by Alfred Wong. The paint scheme on this build is what intrigues me the most with the multi-shades and colors. I know of many people currently mastering X-wings in double studio scale, but this is the first I have seen completed! Master modeler Ken Gogan took the main dimensions of the old AMT Kit and then compiled his version of this fantastic craft! This piece is HUGE in 1:12 scale at 39 inches in length!
