Mark Fuhrmann’s – Scratch Built – The Empire Strike Back – Studio Scale T-47 Snowspeeder (Orange Stripe)

I have almost finalized a second Snowspeeder, which is the orange version. It has open panels (which can be closed) and the scale is 1:10 again, studio scale. The model is about 55 cm long. The pictures have been made with different light so the look of the model is slightly different. Like my first Snowspeeder, this model is also completely scratch built from styrene parts.

Best regards from Germany,
Mark Fuhrmann

Mark Fuhrmann’s 1/10 (55 cm) T-47 Snowspeeder SCRATCH BUILD!

One year ago I pictures of my “work in progress” on this Snowspeeder. Now I have found some time to finalize this project. The scale is 1:10, studio scale, the model is about 55 cm long. Regarding the pictures in the snow,.. I have added a sixth scale Sideshow figure which I have photo-shopped to match the scale of my Snowspeeder. As I already wrote last year the model is completely scratch built from styrene parts. This is my second scratch built model, the first being the Turbolaser diorama (SEEN HERE). At the moment I am building the open panel Snowspeeder version which will be painted with orange stripes.

I hope you enjoy my pictures!

Many thanks and best regards from Germany,

Mark

Mark Fuhrmann’s Beautiful 1/10 T-47 Snowspeeder Scratch Build!

I have decided to try a second scratch build model. A studio scale Snowspeeder 1:10 scale. For me a big challenge as this whole modelling still feels new to me.

I decided to build the Snowspeeder as this is one of my favorite models from Star Wars. Another reason was that I thought that I won’t need to vacuum form any parts and could build all parts somehow easy. At the end it wasn´t so easy, for me very complicated and much harder than the Turbolaser. The main reason for this was that the Turbolaser gave me some freedom to build it in scale, the Snowspeeder not. If there is anything out of scale you see it immediately and it doesn’t look good.

I have bought a Bandai Snowspeeder 1:48 and upscaled it as good as I could. I have also used all pictures which I could find online.

I wanted to h...

Mark Fuhrmann’s Death Star Attack Diorama

This is beautiful work! Especially considering it is Mark Fuhrmann’s first! This artist from Germany is truly one to watch! Impressive!!

The X-wings Mark used are his builds from the Bandai kits. This diorama took over 200 hours to complete. It was worth every minute.
