Phillip Church built this Bandai AT-ST and sent it to me to paint up. I used oils for the streaking, and the foliage is product they use for model rail road scenery. The mud on the feet is some of that foliage ground up and mixed with paint. It took like 5 minutes to get it to stand on one foot like that, then I had to take the photo fast as it didn’t want to stay that way.

Hi everyone! Here are some photos from my Space Shuttle w/747 commission. I downloaded high res photos of the real Space Shuttle from NASA’s website, and I made decals from the photos! The Shuttle is now ready for transport! Please notice the window coverings, I thought that was a very nice look so I made those last night! I also noticed by looking at photo’s that the engine aerodynamic cover on the rear of the shuttle is glossy and clean, in contrast to the distressed look of the shuttle! Now I will start on the 747 transport!

Here is the X-Wing I just completed for a client. It is built from the NEXUS Models Studio Scale Kit. This is one of many I have built over my career as an artist. The NEXUS model kit is fantastic and it’s designed for the wings to be able to open and close, like this one. I believe this build captured the look of the X-Wing.

I spent 6 months and hundreds of hours on this project, pouring over pictures of the 5 foot filming model and replicated each and every detail to the best of my ability. I’m offering for sale the studio scale probe droid that I built from a resin kit. I have replaced many of the resin parts with the real kit parts, and I have also replaced all the eyes with plastic half spheres so they would be more reflective.
I have opted to paint this probe droid more as it was seen on screen rather than how the filming model looks in person. I did however use the same colors as the filming model, the base color being grimy black and including the same colors used for weathering, including reefer orange, but left it more with an overall black look, as that appealed to me more.

Hello everyone!
I’m offering for sale my first major project! This is the 2 foot long Zvezda 1:2700 scale Star Destroyer, I have spent hundreds of hours detailing every millimeter of this fantastic model!
Here are the things I have done to bring this model to completion.
I have hand scribed every panel on the ship to bring out the detail, which I believe represents a more realistic look and mimics the model used in the movies rather than by using a “wash” to bring out the scribe lines.
I then subtly painted hundreds of panels all over the ship that are just slightly darker than the base hull color so they can be seen up close, but from a distance only appear as added deta...

“I’ve finished the panels on the top of the ship, and then I went back over all of them with the base color to blend them in, then I tried to take some pics of how I saw the ship in the movie as far as how the panels and scribing is seen, as in the movies you really don’t see it unless it’s in a close up. I think in these pics it shows how from a distance you don’t even see them, then as you get closer they’re more prominent.
The panels on the nose are the same color as the ones towards the back, but under bright lighting they kind of vanish into the distance. Which is exactly what I was going for! So I’m very pleased with how they turned out!”

This is my scratch built T110E5 turret form World of Tanks. The body of the tank is a 1/35 M48, and since they don’t make a kit of the turret, I made one out of styrene, bondo and epoxy sculpt. World of Tanks featured it on their FB page.
