I have to say that I am both thrilled and honored that artist Garry King would build this 13 Tribe Battlestar (currently named PHOENIX for reference. This will change). Designed by both myself and famed Galactica designer Eric Chu, then a digital build started by famed Digital modeler Tobias Richter, this design is still in it’s infancy for the future production named “13”. This production takes us to the beginning of the BG Saga (1000 years before the TOS version of 1978), revealing to us all why the Colonies were formed, why the Cylons began to hate humans and want them exterminated, why they are only Robots now, and the story of that famed missing Tribe… the 13th Tribe. We also see the first build of the Colonies Battlestar, which is the famed design we are all familiar with...

Famed Artist/Collector Tobias Richter never disappoints with his creations! Owner of The Light Works, this artist’s work simply floors me! This Defiant is beautiful!

Artist Robin Clifford is back with this fantastic piece! Using the amazing Andrew Probert Concept AMBASSADOR Class build of Tobias Richter’s… SEEN HERE, and some Klingon Birds of Prey from Star Trek Online, then creating the outstanding backdrop from his own mind’s color palette leaves me completely impressed! This is a beautiful piece! Robin definitely has a style of his own creation in his works! I LOVE THEM!

I can never say enough positively about famed professional artist Tobias Richter of The Light Works. His builds in both physical and digital realms are pure inspiration. And now, building the design of famed artist Andrew Probert, (an artist that has inspired us all through these past decades with his Star Trek, and other amazing achievements), this Ambassador Class Starship is truly what Science Fiction is about. Especially that of Star Trek design! I am quite honored to be able to show this piece on Modeler’s Miniatures and Magic today. It is a design that I very much would enjoy seeing produced as a kit for the public! And if not there, certainly for Galleries and Collections albeit in much larger scale. It is both impressive, and classic in it’s lines...

2264…. A year that would be full of interesting events surrounding the nearly 20 year old Starship Enterprise. After a few major refits this Enterprise was almost completely new from the ship Captain Robert April passed on to it’s last Commander… Captain Christopher Pike. Now a Fleet Captain, it was time to again pass the Command of the vessel on to new blood. Fresh from his first command of a Destroyer Class vessel, and newly promoted to be the youngest Captain in Starfleet’s history, was Captain James T. Kirk. Known for his ‘unique’ command style, and quick, effective command methods, this new Captain had no idea what lay in front of him and a crew that would follow him to death itself should he require it...

Entering the system where the planet Yavin existed was easy for the Captain of the Corellian Frieghter DILIGENCE…. it was not knowing where to go after that which puzzled him. Soon he would find out as a pair of old, beat-up Y-Wings flew closely next to the DILIGENCE soon after he entered the system from light speed. Identifying himself to the lead Y-Wing Pilot (Gold Leader), he is instructed to follow the Red Y-wing while being escorted to the Rebel Base with which he still had no idea where it was. “Looks like we are heading to the fourth moon.” he states to his co-pilot.
