Adam Schneider – Profiles in History – STAR TREK: Phase II / Early TMP – Klingon Battle Cruiser Studio Model

Adam Schneider is a Collector that is doing an amazing service to this art form… he is preserving the original filming models from Star Trek. And he is showing them to the world! This is something that I would like to invite MORE Collectors of any of the original models to do. I applaud his efforts in these preservations, and his choice to show these amazing models that sparked our imaginations.

As taken from the actual “Profiles in History” AUCTION…

Star Trek Studio Models at the Seattle EMP Trek Exhibition from Adam Schneider

Mega Collector’s Adam Schneider, and Paul Allen recently allowed their Collection to be placed on display in Seattle! Adam sent me these photos, along with some notes…

Studio Scale Phase II Enterprise Refit: This is the Phase II converted to TMP, from my dry dock.  Its 6 foot long.  And really lovely – a great conversion was done.  We tried to have Excelsior and Enterprise-E lit, but EMP could not manage it on their display stand.  (it’s not like they take a simple plug, its COMPLICATED.)

The First Contact 1701-E: She’s 11 feet long, 4 feet wide. About 18 inches tall. If she looks small, it is because that is a LARGE room.

The USS Excelsior: This is one done for Voyager, where Sulu was in the episode – “Flashback”...

Special Exhibit On Display In New York … through October 2016… by Adam Schneider

Mega Collector Adam Schneider recently purchased the fully restored Galileo Shuttlecraft from the 1966 Series Star Trek. He and his wife Leslie have allowed it to be placed on Exhibit in New York next to the Space Shuttle ENTERPRISE!! I wish to thank Adam and Leslie for their great contribution in allowing it to be viewed. You are fantastic my friends!

A bit of history: Leslie and I purchased and restored Galileo in 2012-2013. We donated her to NASA / Space Center Houston in June 2013.

We are proud as can be that “our shuttle” is now in New York and displayed with the actual Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Thank you – Master Shipwrights / NASA / Space Center Houston / and of course Intrepid for making this all possible.

ST:TNG Encounter at Farpoint JELLYFISH ENTITY from the Adam Schneider Collection

I am honored to show another great piece of Adam Schneider’s Collection. Assisted by famed modeler Ed Miarecki, Adam came to own this magnificent piece (from Star Trek The Next Generation’s Episode 001) the Jellyfish Entity from Encounter at Farpoint. This is beautifully made…. impressive. Thank you for allowing us to show your collection Adam! It is amazing!

On a side note. Adam is currently searching for a qualified artist that may build him a replica of the 4 foot Enterprise 1701D that he may place inside the studio model that he owns of the McKinley Station! If you have the great skills needed to scratch build that model precisely, and you are interested in doing so, please contact Adam by clicking the CONTACT ARTIST button below. Have your references ready to show him.

Star Trek TMP Dry Dock Studio Model Restored by Ed Miarecki for the Adam Schneider Collection

I was contact by a friend of mine the other day, Dan (aka OylPslyk on the boards), regarding this beautiful studio model restoration… once again done by professional modeler, and industry known Ed Miarecki of Ed Miarecki Designs! Dan was contacted by the owner (Adam Schneider) of this great studio model, as well as many of the original studio models of Star Trek that were auctioned by Christie’s this past year. Adam’s Collection is quite impressive and can be seen on his Star Trek Site HERE. I must say that I am both envious and pleased to know this piece was treated with such respect, and that it is in great hands of Adam! Here today we were given the great honor by Adam of showing this magnificent piece finished, during restoration, and pre-restoration...
