Australian artist Nigel D. Wood Ward is back with this build of the Independence Day Alien Soldier Exoskeleton figure! His use of black wash in the figure really shows the detail as it should be shown. Nicely done! Also… Nice Star Wars Backdrop Nigel!
Though these photos are not the best of this piece, one can still view the intricacies of this paint job and custom add-on’s by artist Nigel D. Wood Ward of this amazing sculpted kit by the famed DC artist Tim Bruckner! Eyes glaring as they did on the various Star Trek series the Klingon character Chancellor Gowron appeared in, this figure build does the character justice. A custom, bloodied Bat’leth and armor really makes this piece stand out. Nicely done!

Nigel’s first presentation is of the known vessel from ALIENS… the Sulaco. Photos taken in the direct sunlight, you can see Nigel’s weathering and paneling technique makes for the size displacement of the model, skillfully making the model look much larger than it is. Nicely done. We will be showing more if Mr. Wood Ward’s work very soon.
