Here is the X-Wing I just completed for a client. It is built from the NEXUS Models Studio Scale Kit. This is one of many I have built over my career as an artist. The NEXUS model kit is fantastic and it’s designed for the wings to be able to open and close, like this one. I believe this build captured the look of the X-Wing.

This RED 2 X-Wing is built from the NEXUS Models studio scale kit! Supplied with the kit is the standard resin armature with a metal rod inside that has a mounting thread. This is the first released kit from Nexus, not their newest release with the Blue Tooth option to open and close the wings via a mobile phone and app. Over all it’s a great kit full of extras. On the other hand, this kit has added details that to my knowledge were not on the original studio models (which I am not a fan of to be honest), but the kit is well thought out and a joy to build!

Artist Stephen Hamedl is doing great works in this art form. This time he built up the amazing Nexus Models 1/18 kit of the T-47! Fantastic work!
Michael Hawes sent Mike Salzo one of the old T-47 Snowspeeder’s that Master Replicas made years ago, and as you can see… Mike did an amazing job bringing this piece to museum quality. He even added the pilot and gunner figures! Fantastic!
Of Note: These MR Speeders are becoming more difficult to find these days. However… for those that are looking for one, there is a kit available that was developed by NEXUS Models years ago around the same scale. CLICK HERE to see more on that. No worries… The Nexus kit is not a re-cast….the patterns were made from scratch.
