Around six weeks ago I did a kit my good friend Rob Rossi sent me this kit. He designed a Concept “A NEW HOPE” Escape Pod Kit. As it sat on my shelf I decided to get a crack at it. It was 3D printed in PLA, and with a few resin parts I did my own take on it. Since there is no real reference material other than the two black/white concept drawings from Joe Johnston in the Star Wars Sketchbook, I took some personal liberties with it. Rob’s kit was a great starting point, and I added my own greeblies, nurny’s, and do-dads along with custom lighting. I have to say it was a fun build.

I just completed a Korbanth 1/24 scale T-70 X-Wing. I painted this in the Rise of Skywalker paint scheme for Poe Dameron’s X-wing.

I recently completed a 1/350 scale JPG Productions Nebulon-B Medical Frigate build. This is not for sale as it is already promised to a client I built it for. The Rebel Transport is a modified version from an old MPC kit for the “Rebel Base” kit from the 80s.

The kit turned out well. I added a fleet of BanDai 1/144 escort ships to the base as well as some sound effects. The Blockade Runner itself is approximately 1/144. It comes up a little short but I think the overall look works with the escort ships. I added custom lighting and a custom cockpit, as well as some additional details. The kit is only ~38”…..actually 37 ¾” to be exact.

This amazing piece was sold even before we could get it shown. Appropriately so! It is most excellent work by ROSSI REPLICAS own,.. Rob Rossi. This was built from the amazing kit from Atomic City that Adam K. Johnson assisted with in it’s creation. Rob scratch built a custom, full cabin interior and cockpit that went into this amazing piece. It is beautiful work!

I just finished a build of the DeAgostini Facon at Echo Base. I haven’t seen too many of these Echo Base dioramas so I thought it might be cool for others to see it.

I just finished a Corellian Corvette concept model that is based on sketches by Joe Johnston. I modified a Randy Cooper Corellian Gunship/Corvette resin kit. I just added some details to match the sketches as closely as possible. The paint scheme is based on some Ralph McQuarrie concept photos.

I just finished a Randy Cooper Blade Runner Spinner resin kit, which I believe is 1:12 scale. I used a Voodoo FX lighting kit so the lights on top/bottom all flash slowly. The city-scape was my own design, but I took all of the features from some original BR model reference photos. I had to include the girl from Blade Runner 2049 on one of the billboards!

I just finished up a build of another DeAgostini Millennium Falcon on a Jakku desert base. I designed and printed a lot of the parts on the base. All of the paint used on the Falcon was Archive-X. The control panel allows separate lighting of all of the major components such as interior lighting, flood lighting, caution lights, engines.
