This is my buildup of the Nice-N models studio Scale Escape Pod from A New Hope. Painted primarily with Archive-X enamels, this was a challenging but fun build. This was also my first time mounting to a PanaVise stand, and I was really happy with the positioning options it afforded after it was completed. Now in the collection of Brian Wooldridge.

This is my Korbanth Blockade Runner buildup. Measuring in at almost 38 inches in length, this kit was a joy to build! Painted with Archive X enamels, it’s guns and radar dish are positionable as well. It’s fully lit and has a scratch built bridge interior, which includes both Star Wars and Centerfold posters. This is a large model, and weighs in at almost 25 pounds with the base. Runs on a single 9-volt battery, easily accessed through side bulkhead.

This is the Nice-N studio scale A-Wing resin kit, completed for Brian Wooldridge. Built up over a few weeks, it’s an enormous kit! Approximately 24 inches front to back, painted exclusively with Archive X enamels and weathered with the same. Fully lit with yellow and warm white LEDs. I had a great time doing this fantastic kit!

This is the Nice-N Studio Scale B-Wing resin kit. While I wanted to make it a recognizable livery, I took some artistic license with the weathering to make it a little more battle-worn than the filming miniature. The model is fully-lit with blinking and static fiber optics in the cockpit, headlights and engine lights. Wings are positionable and it comes with a custom base with rebel logo. Wiring is completely self contained in the rear cockpit cone, and the assembly simply pops off via a neodymium magnet mechanism. Runs on a 9-volt battery.

Klingon Bird of Prey Replica

This is a Studio Scale Klingon Bird of Prey, very High End Replica, built from the Nice-N Model Design Kit. It’s resin pieces on an aluminum armature, and is very sturdy. The wing/baffle fins are laser-cut acrylic, and the wings are position-able. The baffles, guns, and wing bottom hinge plates all attach magnetically for ease of moving if needed.

The model is fully lit with animated torpedo fade up/down, strobe navigation lights, and a flickering engine effect. This model was constructed over a period of approximately 5 months and 200 hours. Custom base is made from half-inch acrylic with laser-cut Klingon logo.
