I must admit, the B-Wing was a hard design to get used to. That stated, when viewing a magnificent build like this one by artist Kenny Alasandro…. I am reminded why I have grown to love it so much! He has captured the look and dynamics of the heavy fighter/bomber perfectly! A beautiful job! This build makes me yurn for the two 1:24 B-Wing builds that I have coming still from artist R.L. Bleecker…. I can’t wait!

Just like the original plan for ILM to build the X-Wings from Star Wars as BLUE Squadron rather than the RED they turned into, professional modeler Kenny Alasandro built Blue 5 from the amazing MSLZ22 kit! This piece is absolutely beautiful and I can now see why ILM chose to go with the RED due to the Blue Screen process used back then…as huge blocks in the wings would have been challenging to film without disappearing into the blue background! Seeing this fantastic build in Blue really takes me back as Kenny captured it’s look perfectly!

Here is another fantastic piece by professional artist Kenny Alasandro! I have never seen a Tusken SITH before now, but I am certain this is what he should look like! Probably a survivor of Anikan’s vengence attack that killed an entire village of the Tusken that held his mother captive just before her death…. and Anikan’s deadly outburst. Of course this is only speculation…. but I would think it would fit into the story quite well to have a Sith Apprentice come from such an event of anger and hatred. And Kenny captured the anger within THIS Tusken Sith for sure!

In celebration of Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back’s 30th Anniversary, professional artist Kenny Alasandro is back with his second showing in the Gallery… an absolute beautiful diorama of a Snowspeeder swooping around the feet on the massive AT-AT! There is nothing about this piece I do not like! Using the SMT AT-AT kit, and Fine Molds T-47 Snowspeeder kit, every detail of this build is perfect, and the photography supreme… this is one that will be popular for quite some time! I especially love the way the cable sweeps around the feet of the Walker…. BEAUTIFUL!
