Here is another piece that I recently finished. This is my rendering of the Toy Biz Hulk diorama. Some of the Toy Biz kits lack detail but I thought this one showed promise. With a lot of filling and sanding after the eighteen parts that make up the figure were assembled and several light primer coats the hulk was looking pretty good. I wanted to give as much realism as possible to the diorama so all of the wreckage was given a enamel steel base coat and then left to dry for a few days. Later I applied an acrylic paint with iron particles suspended within the base and vinegar to activate the rusting process. I think it gives a great effect.
