Luke Skywalker & Biggs Darklighter are joy riding down Begger’s Canyon. Suddenly Luke spots a group of Womp Rats.

Fast creatures roaming around on the canyon floor. Luke fires a shot at one of them down below.

INTERIOR: BIGGS’S T-20 SKYHOPPER – COCKPIT

BIGGS: Bull’s-eye! Luke you got one!

Luke fires again and again.

Here is a 36 year old 32” x 40” acrylic/oil painting that I created, inspired by Ralph McQuarrie production paintings for The Empire Strikes Back. Originally this painting was going to be part of a stop motion super 8 film. I though perhaps it should be revitalize with some action and put into the digital age.
