It has been months since I actually received these wonderful photos from Brian, showing his amazing Collection! They had been buried in a file that I overlooked, and I offer my humble apology. Today, Modeler Magic is honored to show yet another great collection, showing the accumulated works of several amazing artists and companies. Outstanding Brian! This is my buildup of the Nice-N models studio Scale Escape Pod from A New Hope. Painted primarily with Archive-X enamels, this was a challenging but fun build. This was also my first time mounting to a PanaVise stand, and I was really happy with the positioning options it afforded after it was completed. Now in the collection of Brian Wooldridge.

NakedBrain Sci Fi Models

This is the Nice-N studio scale A-Wing resin kit, completed for Brian Wooldridge. Built up over a few weeks, it’s an enormous kit! Approximately 24 inches front to back, painted exclusively with Archive X enamels and weathered with the same. Fully lit with yellow and warm white LEDs. I had a great time doing this fantastic kit!

This is a build from the Cosmos Models/JPG Productions kit. The kit was hallowed out in areas to allow lighting. The engines on the back are MadMan Lighting “Big Assed Engine” kit and have the flicker effect.
The rest of the lighting is my own design to light up windows
Paint started with Model Master Grays for the base coat and then other colors were done with Vallejo
Weathering was done in three parts.
1. Basic wash with watered down Vallejo paint
2. Pastel Chalks to give it a worn and dated look,

Catalyst Creations own George Waldron returns with this build of the TimeSlip Creations studio scale Buck Rogers Thunderfighter.

Commission build up of a Timeslip studio scale thunder fighter. Paint colors mixed to client request. Engines were the only lights in this build. Pilot was sculpted over an old 1/24 pilot I had laying around. Sorry about the mess in the background just moved and haven’t set up a photo area yet. Base is made of mdf and painted satin black.

5 Color 1/350 Enterprise 1701 Refit, fully lit with effects, sound and custom base. This Enterprise took over 1 year/+1000 man hours to complete. The model has accurate navigation and strobe lighting effects. Chaser lights in the shuttle bay, the main dish changes color to represent the power up sequence, and the engines change from impulse to warp. Custom base includes 15 switches to control the lighting in the ship, all spots can be turned on or off, engine selection, and photon torpedo control, with various firing sequences with sound effects.
