This once “war torn” Earth is now a paradise again…. only to be forcibly run by the corrupt & ruthless Strahl Democratic Republic (SDR). The Galactic Federation had no right to proclaim the SDR as the ruling body to the Colonists of Earth… and now they would regret it. The brutal work camps alone were enough for the Colonists to create their own Governing body and rebel for freedom… The Earth Independent Provisional Government for which this new Military was risen… The Independent Mercenary Army! The will of the people, along with their strong walking tanks would fight to the death! “And death is what they received” thinks the Armored Sergeant as he passes behind one of those walking tanks just after his unit destroyed an SDR Bunker...

Read MoreThe FAUN is fully finished and mounted on its base with cargo. I felt the Luchs was the best overall for it. Adding the cargo meant making the tie down chains and their attachment points on the trailer. The model was entered in a contest back in may and took first place in its category and best small scale armor. I will admit that the competition was small but the other models there were top notch.
Overall a very fun and enjoyable model to build. References are abundant at www.primeportal.net . Many kudos to Revell Germany for tooling this one up. Lets hope they or Trumpeter do a modern Russian transporter. US and UK transporters would be nice too...

This beautiful build was done by professional artist Sean Brannin from the amazing Hasegawa kit! Admittedly, it doesn’t take much for someone to really enjoy these Ma.K. pieces due to their designs. However, when done with superior skills, like the Lunadiver STINGRAY you see here, it really brings the piece to life! I especially love the way Sean makes his panels ‘real-world’ looking with the paint scrapes around the edges! Outstanding work!

This one took me a while to master. 1 was because of my inexperience mastering things. 2 it was originally built as a one off for the legs contest and had to be completely ripped, stripped, and rebuilt to become a master. 3 Lack of good references. No 2 reference sources for it matched. I finally resorted to the game line art and even that didnt always jive with itself...
