This is the 1979 issue of the Klingon K’T’inga class warship from Star Trek TMP. Built and finished last month! The model has the new improved decals from Polar lights on it.
Improvements done:

• Complete rework of the bridge area at the ‘head’.
• Improved impulse engines at the rear.
• Detail in large Klingon symbol improved.
• All panels sanded down to reduce over-sized relief.
• All joints had to be redone due to misalignment’s in the kit design.

Hi friends, this is my heavy upgraded build of a Zvezda Imperial Star Destroyer kit. I replaced 70% of original parts with my own super-detailed scratch-built parts, re scaled side trenches to make them taller, rebuild all engine area and added a lot of small details to increase quality of the model.
Now, with all this upgrades, this model looks really amazing. The detail level is very high for it’s size! And now it looks much more screen-accurate than the original kit . Also I’ve made remote control, so you don’t need to approach to the model to turn it on. Now, you can simple push a button, while sitting on a sofa.

Length is 60cm, weight is 3.5 kg...

It is a great thing to witness when a studio scale TIE Fighter is built using the original KOOL SHADE for it’s wings. It has become difficult to find the original Kool Shade. The company now makes the metal material with the louvers spread further apart…. which changes the look slightly. Chris managed to find some Kool Shade to build this magnificent studio scale TIE Fighter, which is a RE-BUILD mostly from an original ICONS REPLICAS model. It will go along nicely with the studio scale Darth Vader TIE Fighter X-1 (VIEW HERE) that Chris is selling as this goes up to be seen.

This is built primarily from The NICE-N Model Designs Kit, with a cockpit upgrade from my own last patterned studio scale X-1 kit. It includes the front “well” details that are not included in Steve’s kit. It’s pristine and definitely a museum quality display. I’ll quote shipping to any interested party. The base can accept a clear acrylic case, and is MDF and wood, which is a very solid and heavy base. I used the old icons high altitude tile and put a low altitude paint job on it to give it some POP!
The model is lit and includes the power cord...

Originally shown on MMM back on January 2, 2009 , this piece began it’s life in 2005-2006, photographed by me in 2007, and was sold to the Hector Rosales Collection in December of 2011. I thought this was a good one to show to all of our more recent viewers whom may have missed it back then.

This piece began as a cast from the original Star Trek TNG model patterns given to artist Richard Long to clean up for casting. The shop that sent it to Richard agreed to allow him to cast what he cleaned up, then sell a build to me (Kurt Kuhn) in order to get Richard paid for the venture of doing so instead of incurring that cost themselves...

When Mike Salzo released the V-2 Studio Scale X-Wing, I was so completely excited that I purchased 3 sets of parts from him immediately! I envisioned a trench scene large enough to have all three studio scale X-Wings within it. This diorama was also to have Vader (with his two Wing-men) in pursuit, and it was to be about 50 feet long, embedded into the floor of the display area that people may walk over it’s heavy glass top. At that time, Modeler Magic was to be opened in Las Vegas. Alas… 2008 was a tragic year on many levels for everyone… and this placed the Modeler Magic Gallery on hold. At that time, Model Maker R.L. Bleecker was doing many amazing works for me, and he took on this beautiful V2 X-Wing...
