The 1955 TWA Moonliner is 39-inches tall, a 1:24 scale model kit of the ship that stood at Disneyland outside the “Rocket to the Moon” attraction, from 1955 to 1966. Kit includes all parts, paint templates, Microscale decals. The legs are reinforced with cast-in brass tubing. Also of note is the cockpit canopy– it is cast in brass for the ultimate in strength!

It measures 24″, the kit has 12 parts so it’s very easy to build.
it has a clear resin canopy.

Let me first start by stating that I am honored to be able to review such a fine piece of work by eFX. Thank you for allowing me to do so.

Now on to the review… sit down… this is long… As promised, it is an honest, unbiased review.

Upon receiving the X-wing from Fed-Ex yesterday, I was impressed with largeness of the box this item came in. (See photos below). It was obvious that eFX had taken time to design this box and packing so that damage during world-wide shipping would be nil or minimal. The graciously placed two inches of extra foam around the already foam encompassed x-wing and stand. From my years of sending and receiving museum items, THIS is the way to pack an item for shipment.

When I picked up the X-wing out of the foam, the first thing I noticed is how heavy and cold it was! ...

I received this 1/1400 piece in 2007 from New York Artist Michael Provenzano! Scratch built, it is entirely made of balsa wood, sculpting clay, and sheet styrene!!! Michael based the build off of the small Ertl kit in the 3 Adversaries set!

This Version 1 (V1) Cylon Raider Studio Scale replica was masterfully built and painted by R.L. Bleecker in 2006. The studio scale kit itself was mastered off an original pyro model (used in the 1978 series) that we believe may have cast from what ICONS Replicas once sold as a Studio Scale Replica from Battlestar Galactica. Artist Mark Dickson, under Jim Key’s company, made it so. Later on, this would become a Kit which would be sold by Jesse Meyers, and then by Kit and Pattern maker Mike Salzo (MSLZ22 Models). Today the kit is sold by Kit Maker Jason Wright of JAWS Models in Australia.
