Artist Frank Blanton has outdone himself with this magnificent build of the Millennium Falcon!
This is the Fine Molds 1/72d scale kit. After assembly I painted the model with a base coat of light grey then added several washes over the model using AK Interactive washes. Afterwards I then painted each panel with thinned down Tamiya acrylic paints using various shades of Greys and Whites. I then used a very fine black and brown marker for paint chips,scratches etc.. Followed by more panel fading with the airbrush. The burned metallic areas at the rear of the ship were created using Alclad laqure paints for “Hot Metal Effects”. This is the ESB/ROTJ configuration and I placed two extra landing gear bays in.
