Here are the finished photos of the Colonial Landram from Battlestar Galactica. It is 1:50 scale (I had template rescaled for needs) and made completely of 100# paper/cardstock.

Staying home gave me a time to build a Disney’s Nautilus from 20,000 League under the Sea. It is one of my favorite of all time. I build it out of paper and upper section only but it’s 65 ” long. (about 1/15 scale)

Cześć wszystkim!! Wziąłem na warsztat nowy projekt. Zacząłem budowę Choppera. Droid Droida z serialu Rebelianci. Obecnie zakończyłem na szkielecie korpusu oraz położeniu powłok zewnętrznych. Póki co stan surowy bez dodanych szczegółów.
Szkielet głowy Choppera zrobiony. Niestety nieodpowiednie oświetlenie zniekształca proporcje.
Hi to all!! I took a new project for the workshop. I started building Chopper, the Droid from the Rebels series. I have now finished on the skeleton of the body and the location of the outer shells. Until now, raw state without any details.
Chopper’s head skeleton made. Unfortunately, inadequate lighting distorts the proportions.

Desde que era niño deseaba tener esta nave en mi colección, así que para mi fue toda una satisfacción construirla pieza por pieza y de forma totalmente artesanal (Scratchbuilding). Fue más difícil de lo que pensé. Es la maqueta más detallada que hecho en mi vida, y creo que, a pesar de algunos detalles que pudieron a mi parecer ser mejores, me quedo contento con el resultado.

Artist Garry King showed us some of his amazing Star Wars Scratch Builds from 1982, and now he shows us several scratch builds he did of the Battlestar Galactica and Cylon Basestar… all built in 1981! With Garry only being 12-13 years of age.. I am impressed with both his speed, and his progression from each build to the next. Especially with the only real reference of the time being magazine photos! My favorites are his last Basestar (Build #3) and his last scratch built Battlestar (Build #7). Again, I am enjoying viewing Garry’s massive progression of design detail and technique with each new build of both designs in Garry’s photos! Fantastic!
Viewing these old build, and scratch build photos from famed Lego artist Garry King sparked something in me! I have so many memories going through my head of that time. I invite you all to share your own photos of your builds from an era before digital photography. Garry’s work here looks fantastic! And he was only 13 years of age! I want to dig out my old photos now! LOL

Artist Krzysztof Wilczyński from Poland recently completed this magnificent life sized R2-D2 out of PAPER products! Even the dome looks to be paper with foam filler! I love this!
Here are some pictures of my latest model. It is the Millennium Falcon from the Solo movie. This Model is based on the BanDai model kit, only much, much larger. As usual, I built this from scratch from cardboard. Its construction took over half a year to complete. It is 1:27 in scale and it’s length is 2m. Due to it’s size, it has been reinforced with a metal frame.
