It is equipped with a cargo bay that can deliver a land assault vehicle such as the M-577 Powell Armored Personnel Carrier. The Comanche then lifts off to provide air support with its heavy ordnance load. This is a highly unique and creative tactical combination that exploits the limited technology of the Terran’s to their fullest.”

During the pandemic I’ve making the best use of my time and building! This is one of the kits that I got done. It’s a resin kit I picked up from Monsters in Motion a few years back and it was a challenge to build but the result came out great. It’s not 100% accurate to the ship in the show but it still makes a nice display piece. The Hawk Starfighter from the Buck Rogers TV series!

Artist Dannon Marsh works on the amazing and huge Alfred Wong patterned Korbanth U-Wing from Rogue One. Dannon is doing wonderful work, making his own decals and sprucing up the interior. I believe this model kit is the same size as that which is displayed in the Disneyland and Disney World Hangar Bay’s… or very close to it!

I just finished shooting some photos of my latest build, a Corellian Freighter. I tend to refer to it as such as it wasn’t created as a Millennium Falcon copy per se. It was mastered by Alfred Wong back in the ’90’s who created it “in the spirit” of the Falcon. It has elements of both A New Hope and the Empire Strikes Back Falcons incorporated into it. So I built it in the same spirit. I also used the Corellian Freighter Blueprints as a guide for some of the detail. It was available via SMT Technologies but only for a very short while as Colin was forced to stop producing it. For myself, I started it about 24 years ago and have now just completed it. I’m in the process of making an acrylic stand and display case for it now, but wanted to share it with you at this time.
