Once again I have the pleasure of introducing another fine artist to the Modeler Magic Gallery… Mr. Mike Maynard! Today Mike is showing his amazing diorama representing the classic story War of the Worlds! Fantastic work!
I noted there was a War of the Worlds diorama and thought I would submit my own. The scale is 1/35th and the tripod is scratch built from plastic brass and aluminum.
Most folk are unfamiliar with the Classic Illustrated War of the Worlds but being a child of the 1950’s, it was always a favorite of mine. Keep in mind this “Martian War Machine” was pretty radical for it’s time, long before the AT AT walkers of Star Wars.
