This is a a remarkable oral history by Preston Neal Jones (originally written in 1979-80 but never published!) about the making of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. There is a huge section on the post-production with first-hand accounts of the VFX and model-making. No pictures (for copyright reasons) but lots and lots of inside information according to Creature Feature’s Lukas Kendall! I look forward to reading it!
