“X-Wing Attack” Composite Art by Kurt Kuhn (Kuhn Global)

Traveling so fast that the Death Star surface below is a blur, and their engines screaming with power, the three Rebel Pilots that end this historic battle are readying themselves for their attack run through the narrow trench they are about to enter. Luke, Biggs and Wedge…. forever tied together in history, will now find out what they are truly made of.

This composite was made from one of the first photos I ever did with blue screen using the fantastic builds of RED’s 5 and 2 by R.L. Bleecker, and Red 3 by Richard Long…. all three built from the fantastic V2 studio X-Wing kits then offered by MSLZ22 Models. The lighting was completely wrong, using standard bulbs and getting a yellow glare on the models, also making the blue screen very dark in color. While looking through some of the old photos that I never used… I thought I would try to do something with a few…. one you see here below. The above composite is the result.
