We would like you to be aware that vendor tables are currently being sold for the 2016 JerseyFest Model Kit & Statue Fair. We anticipate selling out of tables sooner than last year for various reasons. If anyone is interested in vendor tables at the 2016 JerseyFest Model Kit & Statue Fair (August 27th weekend, Marriott Hanover Hotel, NJ) and has not already contacted us, now is the time to do so to guarantee you’ll get them. Please let us know if you have any questions. We already have a great program for this year, which includes Randy Bowen and Casey Love, with many more artists to be added in the coming months. We have many new table requests/purchases coming in, so please keep this in mind whether you are a returning vendor or potential new one.
The vendor show this year is Saturday and Sunday August 27th – 28th, in a beautiful Marriott Hanover Hotel in Whippany, New Jersey, which is in a suburban area. The hotel is in a great location central to New York City and Philadelphia, and not far from Newark Airport.
We cannot guarantee tables until payment is received and we receive the signed vendor agreement in the mail before the show. All the vendor information you need and instructions for securing tables are published here: https://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=53
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information.
For those of you who are not familiar with the show, here is a summary:
Jerseyfest is a niche specialty show that’s pretty rare in the USA, with the focus on the garage kit hobby and all things model, sculpting, and painting related in the world of fiction, including figures and vehicles. Pre-painted statues, including very rare ones, are also on display and for sale. We will have lots more than usual at our 2016 show.
Many of the very biggest vendors and artists in the hobby attend our show often with super rare models and art of all sizes from life-sized to miniatures, as well as studio scale vehicles such as spaceships from Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. We had over 130 tables at the last show and many people from all over the USA and abroad attending. We have a big and spectacular model contest and exhibits in a gallery room, and expert demos/presentations (e.g., on painting, sculpting, movie makeup and effects, etc.) running throughout the day in separate rooms on Saturday and Sunday. And the social aspects and partying that goes on throughout the hotel all weekend long, especially in the evenings, are the “icing on the cake”.
Our special guest presenters at prior shows included film effects and model making legends from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, Predator, Alien vs. Predator, Avatar, Hellboy, Hulk, 300, Planet of the Apes and more.
