This is built primarily from The NICE-N Model Designs Kit, with a cockpit upgrade from my own last patterned studio scale X-1 kit. It includes the front “well” details that are not included in Steve’s kit. It’s pristine and definitely a museum quality display. I’ll quote shipping to any interested party. The base can accept a clear acrylic case, and is MDF and wood, which is a very solid and heavy base. I used the old icons high altitude tile and put a low altitude paint job on it to give it some POP!
The model is lit and includes the power cord. It’s a color match to the eFX TIE Fighter, so it would make a handsome companion for that replica! Or, if anyone is interested, I’m currently building an Studio Scale TIE Fighter with the original brass Kool Shade that will totally rock.
