1:32 TAMIYA MUSEUM F4E Phantom built by Ernie Gee

This piece is proudly displayed in the the TAMIYA Museum in Shizuoka Japan! World Class modeler Ernie Gee ( of G-Factor Models) once again shows his skill level with this F4E Phantom conversion.

Here is what Ernie wrote to me…

Here are some pics of my 1/32 Tamiya F-4E Phantom that was the influence for the Tamiya kit. The model was converted from a C model Phantom which involved the conversion of the nose. The E model had a gattling gun built in the nose and required the lengthening of the nose. This model is now in the Tamiya Museum in Shizuoka, Japan.

The photo below was taken at the Shizuoka Hobby Japan at the Tamiya booth. The funny thing about this photo is that I found it on the internet. It wasn’t taken by me. This model also won at the IPMS Nationals here in US and has taken a couple best of shows. I consulted with Brig. Gen Steve Ritchie, the highest scoring Air Force Pilot Ace in Vietnam, on this project.
