The Third Models/Mark Myers – MOEBIUS Models – Lost in Space “HERO” Jupiter 2 – 1/35 Scaled Filming Model Replica with Lighting!

This is my 1/35 Moebius Jupiter 2 built to reflect the 4′ Filming HERO Miniature.
It features…

  • A filled in and sanded smooth exterior hatch(there was no hatch on the filming miniature).
  • Removable “Hero” Landing gear so the model can be displayed in Flight or landed.
  • The practical interior seen on the miniature with four crew figures.
  • Lit interior.
  • Spinning scanner in upper bubble(there are no lights…the scanner reflects the lights inside the model…again, per the filming model).
  • Mechanical fusion core.

The lights in the lower engine are six in number, sixty degrees apart and are attached to a motor that spins the lights for the effect seen in the Early first season episodes.
The engine and upper bubble are tied in together so they both sin at the same time and, via a potentiometer, can spin as fast or slow as I wish.
