This piece was originally shown on Modelers Miniatures & Magic back on April 3, 2011… and I felt it a great build. Enough so to refresh it to the front page!
Australian artist Paul Nyul is back with this beautiful build of the KORBANTH offered Super Star Destroyer! I can never get enough of the Star Destroyer, and Paul very much knows the ‘look’ these predators must have to achieve the terror they place in the hearts of those they dominate. The detail on this piece is stunning! Nicely done.. again by artist Paul Nyul!

Y-Wing RED JAMMER
Above: Actual Photo of ILM Studio Model

Originally started by artist R.L. Bleecker, then transferred to artist Marc Elkins, this piece ended up breaking apart during transport and has to be completely re-done by Marc to be this fantastic piece you see here today. Sadly, the only part of the now retired R.L. Bleecker’s work that survived were the blue/grey stripes…which Marc was able to keep on it. This piece is absolutely amazing! Marc has outdone himself yet again with turning a model into something that very well could have been a fill sized piece, shrunk down! The detail and weathering are fantastic! I love how Marc made it look as if the paint was worn down to the metal in several places on this build...

Artist Paul Nyul has returned with this fantastically detailed build of the Star Destroyer Avenger from the Sci-Fi Dynaics of ANIGRAND Kit! This piece could very well be used in filming today! The fine details and paneling distinction techniques are beautifully done! A true piece of work by a fantastic artist!
Here is what Paul has to say…
Here’s one more Anigrand Star Destroyer I just finished (last one!!), I did this one to fund a MR Falcon I purchased, but finding it hard to part with. This one doesn’t have the internal steel frame & armature like the last one I did, but it has a steel powder coated mirrored base.
A lot more detail was added to the side walls / trenches & edges of the hulls – top & bottom, to make it more accurate...

Colonial Viper
“Commander Cain” Edition
Gallery Insurance Appraised at $1,300 U.S.
Built by world known professional miniaturist R.L. Bleecker, this resin kit cast came from molds just a few casting generations old of the original molds used to cast the original filming models in 1978. This piece was created, then gave inspiration to be displayed in a large display featuring the Battlestar Pegasus from the original 1979 series. The display was placed on indefinite hold and this ended up being the only piece made...

Up for sale is a one of a kind kit version of the Master Replicas Millennium Falcon. This was a kit version of the falcon which was originally owned by Dean Dymerski and was built and painted by him. Dean was chosen by Master Replicas to do the paint masters which would be used by their factory in China to paint the other models. Dean is a master model builder and painter and this falcon is truly one of a kind. The production models all sat at a tilted display angle whereas this one was built to sit flat. IMO this is a much better angle to enjoy the shape and beauty of this model...

Famed artist Jim Creveling…. his name screams BATTLESTAR GALACTICA! Why? Because he is considered to be the first person to replicate the amazing studio model from the 1978 film and original series! This model is one of the most complex built of it’s time, and it’s secrets were kept for a few decades other than to the few that had actually worked on it at Apogee. Jim had taken on the beast that everyone wanted, but was afraid to approach due to the magnificence in the amount of parts that needed identifying. Through massive study of the model’s photos, and the partial restoration of the original studio model by artist Mark Bradley (which is now owned and in the collection of Mr. Gary Cannavo SEEN HERE), Jim managed to come up with enough measurements and detail to build his own! S...

Artist Henrik Steve Myrdhén (aka Steve the Swede) is back with this amazing build of the Star Wars – Empire Strikes Back Imperial Probe Droid we viewed scanning the remote Ice Planet of Hoth in the beginning of the film. This piece is beautifully detailed and achieves the cold look of the robot that would identify where the Rebel Base was. I love this piece!
