This piece was originally shown on Modelers Miniatures & Magic back on April 3, 2011… and I felt it a great build. Enough so to refresh it to the front page!

Australian artist Paul Nyul is back with this beautiful build of the KORBANTH offered Super Star Destroyer! I can never get enough of the Star Destroyer, and Paul very much knows the ‘look’ these predators must have to achieve the terror they place in the hearts of those they dominate. The detail on this piece is stunning! Nicely done.. again by artist Paul Nyul!

Artist Paul Nyul has returned with this fantastically detailed build of the Star Destroyer Avenger from the Sci-Fi Dynaics of ANIGRAND Kit! This piece could very well be used in filming today! The fine details and paneling distinction techniques are beautifully done! A true piece of work by a fantastic artist!

Here’s one more Anigrand Star Destroyer I just finished (last one!!), I did this one to fund a MR Falcon I purchased, but finding it hard to part with. This one doesn’t have the internal steel frame & armature like the last one I did, but it has a steel powder coated mirrored base.

A lot more detail was added to the side walls / trenches &  edges of the hulls –  top & bottom, to make it more accurate...

Built from the fantastic Randy Cooper Kit for the David Jones Collection, famed industry artist Steve Neill joins the other artists who have built this kit to be beautiful! I absolutely love the engine lighting Steve achieve in this piece! I will never get tired of viewing Steve’s builds and creations!

Simply stated…. Randy Cooper is one of the best known modelers in the world today. Among the tens of thousands of capable model makers out there…. only a hand full can do what he does. This is yet another example of his fantastic talent. The Blade Runner HERO Spinner is a very complex shaped piece, and Randy has it looking as if it were as easy as making a sandwich! Artist TeeJay Lasher is back and better than ever! Known for his kit making and casting skills (i.e. USS Grissom and Imperial Probe Droid), artist TeeJay Lasher has now build a fantastic version of the Randy Cooper SANDCRAWLER kit. This piece looks amazing and is lit very well. I would love to get my hands on it to photograph. Nicely done by TeeJay Lasher!

Straight from the shop building the models for this fantastic new Eli Sasich short film, HENRI 2.0, comes the PYTHAGORUS! This vessel is fantastic… as is Randy’s usual works. Working side by side with modeling artist & designer, Clark Schaffer, Randy really did these models the justice they needed to look real in filming. The entire storyline of this film really takes place aboard the vessel this model represents in it’s filming miniature form. Shown HERE back in July of 2010, this Film was still being worked on. If it turns out anything like the models designed and built for it, you can bet it will be a success!

We will be showing even more of the miniatures and full sized props created for this short film in the next few updates!

We viewed artist Paul Nyul’s first resin build of Randy Cooper Star Destroyer HERE. Now see his second…with fiber optics in the formerly offered Sci Fi Dynamics of Anigrand kit. This piece is beautiful! For this being the second resin kit done by this artist leaves me in amazement. It also proves that artists learn by watching other artists, making the art form better and better with each generation. I love this Star Destroyer! A fantastic job!

To add  an appropriate Baseball comment… he knocked this one out of the park! Building from the fantastic Randy Cooper kit, Paul made this build look easy… and I know it is far from it.
