Kit Description and Lineage: This kit is based off the original release from ICONS years ago. Like Captain Cardboard’s original release (starting the studio scale X-Wing craze as he did) this also has direct lineage, through ICONS, back to an original PYRO studio model used in 1977’s Star Wars. This is not the HERO Kit that is sold by MSLZ22 Models (Mike Salzo), and it is not the same as Captain Cardboard’s release either, but a NEWLY CREATED pattern, based on the old ICONS pattern...

1:24 TIE Bomber from the Hector Rosales Collection

Model photographed by Kurt Kuhn (Kuhn Global / Modeler Magic) this fantastic creation now resides on the collection of Mr. Hector Rosales! This piece is fairly unique in it’s size and detail. The original studio model was much smaller. The best part about this piece’s size is that it is to scale with the Studio TIE Fighters, X-Wings and Y-Wings available. This piece even has a TIE Bomber Pilot inside the cockpit! The models color is actually Blue/Grey… just like all TIE Fighter’s in the Films were. The color is washed out with the specific lighting used to give that “Star Wars” look when photographing the models.

1:72 Royal Naboo Starship by Richard Long

This beautiful piece was photographed by Kurt Kuhn (Kuhn Global / Modeler Magic) and now resides in the collection of Mr. Hector Rosales!

Masterfully made, this beautiful piece was scratch built and then painted it to look as if it were aged and used.. about 20 years older than it is seen in Star Wars Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace. Only a few of these were ever created and released, making this piece VERY rare indeed!

Modeler Magic Gallery / Museum Appraised at $5,000 U.S.

Gallery Insurance Appraised at $1,300 U.S.

The display was placed on indefinite hold and this ended up being the only piece made...

Studio Scale A-Wing from the Hector Rosales Collection

Built by artist Michael Provenzano, then photographed by Kurt Kuhn (Kuhn Global) of Modeler’s Miniatures and Magic, this fantastic replica now resides in the collection of Mr. Hector Rosales!  As far as is known, this model is extremely rare being that it’s creative artist only produced a two himself, with parts for a third being sold to another artist. This is one of the two builds Michael Provenzano built himself. A wonderful piece for any collection.

MMM Gallery/Museum Appraised Value of $3,000 U.S.

NEW Studio Scale X-Wing from Poseidon Young HAS ARRIVED!

When I returned yesterday, I was extremely happy to see a package from Poseidon Young waiting for me on my desk. Of course I opened it immediately! The first thing I noticed was how well packed this kit was. Everything triple wrapped in bubble wrap and clear packing tape…. COMPLETELY sealed. That alone was fantastic, but when removing the bubble wrap, I found each piece professionally heat sealed in it’s own plastic bag! Like it was a mass produced, quality product! Again… I was impressed. THEN I saw the casting quality….. my jaw dropped! I felt as if I were looking at a high quality, styrene injected kit! Every detail crisp and clean. I found little to no bubbles in the parts I opened. I did not open all of them because it would soon be shipped to a professional builder, Mr...
