Using the excellent Fine Molds kit, Mr. Martin did an amazing job replicating the studio model used for Wedge Antilles Speeder (SEEN HERE). I have seen many, many recreations of the Slave One from Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back, and this latest is one of the best of those I have seen. Master Modeler Mattias Seger very nearly captured the studio model mark for mark on the fantastic kit from Fine Molds. View the Studio Model HERE to compare! His weather and color tones are most effective as looking like that formerly stated filming model… especially under the lighting conditions he photographed it under. Spot on… and beautiful!

I was recently made aware of this amazing artist from France… and the amazing artists of the Studio Scale Federation. I have the great pleasure of introducing to this Gallery today, Master Model Maker Franck Mathieu! His first showing today is of his fantastically huge scratch build of the ANH Millennium Falcon. The detail on this piece is beautiful to view, and his proportions all look great! Using plasticards, kit and resin parts, this beastie took one year to build! The piece is FILM Ready in my opinion! I am very excited to be able to show Franck’s works here, and I am looking forward to his next amazing creation!

At 18″ X 18″ this Studio Scale kit from NICE-N Model Designs (cast by MSLZ22Models and originally mastered by Nick Sainton-Clark) is HUGE! And famed industry master modeler Richard Long did it the justice it deserved! Using the photos of the studio model (SEEN HERE) that were originally taken for Master Replicas by another famed artist, Richard matched every scrape and burn mark to match that of Luke Skywalker’s Snow Speeder as seen in Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back! This is a BEAUTIFUL piece by Richard Long that resides in the amazing Collection of Mr. Thomas Fan!

This amazing piece astounds me with it’s quality and size! Fine Molds produced this excellent kit and master artist Chris Lai made it look MUCH larger than it’s 8.5 inch length! It looks like 1:72 or even large enough to film in a studio! I will never get enough of the professional artists work. The 1:144 Millennium Falcon by Chris Lai!

Being sold today by famed studio model producers NICE-N Model Designs, this piece is long out of production! All original paperwork is included!  This piece has one of the best production paint jobs that was released.  The original styro egg crate for packing is included, but the outer shipping box has been replaced.
