MPC Tydirium by Christopher Hall

I remember when this MPC kit of the Shuttle Tydirium came out. I hurriedly bought it, and threw it together so I could play with it! Not so here… with the professional artist Christopher Hall. This Tydirium build is beautiful and weathered extremely well! One of the things I have noticed of Chris Halls work is that he manages to also take fantastic photos and angles of his models that most artists never think to do...

1:537 USS Reliant NCC-1864 built by Manoj Mantri

Built by known artist Manoj Manti of West Wood Works, this piece turned out fantastic! Using the Round 2 kit (formerly the AMT/Ertl Kit), artist Manoj Mantri did his usual fine build work. Even some of the blast work can be seen on the ships hull, on top of Aztec panels…. Nicely done!

Intergalactic WAR – Composite Art by Kurt Kuhn (Kuhn Global)

Ever since I viewed Jim Grahams build of the Leif Ericson, (SEEN HERE from the old AMT kit), I had wondered how it could be used in a composite. I was going to copy the old box art from the kit at first, but then I thought of trying something else. I began to search the internet for any scene this model may have been in. I found very little on the subject. When AMT released this kit in 1968 as their own line of Starship model (as they had been successful with the Star Trek line), they were  hit hard with small sales of the subject. I remember getting one, building it, and even playing with it. But it was nothing like Star Trek. The Ericson was even designed by Matt Jeffries… who design the Starship Enterprise...

U.S.S. Victoria in Space Dock by Trekmannscott

I viewed this piece on the Resin Illuminati about a year ago, possible longer. I thought is was uniquely done and very worth showing to everyone. Built by the artist known as Trekmannscott, this really shows creativity of display. So much so that I may have a 1:650 Enterprise done just like this. I like this display very much.

22 Inch Starship Enterprise by Jim Graham

I have the great pleasure today of introducing another fine artist to this Gallery…. Mr. Jim Graham from Greenfield, IN. This beautiful build, of what was once the Cut-A-Way AMT Kit, is fantastic with it’s lighting and final paint job. It looks like it could be a studio model! A very nice first showing to the many pieces we hope to show of this artist’s talents!

Here is what artist Jim Graham had to say of this build…

This is the 22″ Cutaway Enterprise That I built as one piece. I added the lights to the Primary & Secondary Hull myself. The nacelle light I purchased as a kit. I used a combination of Tenax 7-R , Super Glue , and Bondo to build her. Paint color is Tamiya Light Ghost Gray. Decals are both what came with the kit & from JT-Graphics.
