This one was built by a good friend. It´s a metal kit, so no “sanding” or puttying is done, but due to the material is has already a heavy metal look to it (and it is for such a tiny model).

A very nice kit made by Master Pattern Maker Alfred Wong. Very clever thought out structure. It´s just a shame that the clear canopy isn´t exactly clear…
Compared to the old AMT kit this one is really big (about double the size) and much more true to the original model.
I tried to stay as close as possible to the original colors, damage and weathering.

I turned to Christian, after his excellent buildup of the Bird of Prey, to do it once more with this exquisite item. He did a very nice job again, recreating the famous vehicle of my favorite movie.

Another nice pre-painted kit from Revell Germany. Just some metal touchup to get rid of the typical plastic look and some weathering and rust added.
Again I don’t have the words for this masterfully built CG model… the U.S.S. Enterprise for the new, upcoming release of Star Trek – The Movie. Absolutely stunning work from Tobias Richter!

Read MoreThis is the only “real” kit of the last Star Wars movie done by Revell. The model is excellent, very detailed with sharp castings – a real pleasure to work with. Painting is also fun – except if you want to follow the Revell painting guide to the finest tiny detail (I stopped at some point).

A very nice design and a very nice model coming from Revell Germany. This is a prepainted kit, so not much painting to do except a little metal touch up to get rid of typical plastic look and some weathering and rust.
This beautiful piece was built by two model masters! Alfred Wong and Tobias Richter (who is also the owner of this great piece). Alfred mastered and built this beautiful Millennium Falcon while Tobias Richter scratch built the base it sits upon. A wonderful piece in an already impressive collection!

He added some basic lighting – in the cockpit, the gunner areas and the engine. Alfred is also a well known master-maker for various Sci Fi Kits – and this is one of his masterpieces. The model has also a fully modeled landing gear.
Since I didn´t want to let it stand on it´s own feet, I had to built something to put it on...
