Here is the last little diorama I have completed…. the vessel is a Kit Bash, while the pod is scratch build (plastic card and recycled part). The base is resin and the Gundam is from the Bandai 1/144 kit.

I started a new model drawn from the Star Wars Universe star wars. I created this piece from a rare illustration by Joe Johnston. To my knowledge, it appeared only in a book of role plays (some of you may have more information on this….). In this book, it is explained that it is a Barge which is the link between the planets and the big cargo ship, so I imagined the vessel pushing containers to a cargo ship under the protection of hunters. The model is in scratch at 1/144 ….

This is a restoration of an old model that I made…20 years ago now…. the biggest changes were on the weird train at the rear, the cockpit and painting. I am well inspired by a drawing of production. The small hunter TIE is from Bandai at 1/144.

I present my new model. I was inspired by a drawing of James Clyne (initially planned for the film Solo), I re-adapted it for the Resistance! Normally it is expected that I add another vessel that would be approached, but I hesitate still on the model. The scale 1/144, and the T-70 X-Wing hunters are from BanDai.

Here is my last scratch build, taken from a production drawing of Joe Johnston for the Return of the Jedi. The concept was taken again for the animated series “Star Wars Rebels”. The scale is 1/12. For the driver I used the BanDai Boba Fett that I repainted in white reminiscent of the series Star Wars Rebels, and of which is also the origins of the costume of Boba Fett.

The little hammerhead model has returned in Rogue One! What is interesting about this model is that it was built and seen briefly in Return of the Jedi. Built by the artist Bill George. Today, we are able to show this beautiful replica built by artist Laurent Perini! What a beautiful job!
