***************
Larger than it’s studio scale cousin, THIS spectacular (31 inch) piece went through the hands of a few artists. Industry known artist R.L. Bleecker first started on this piece years ago, and upon his retirement from the art form this piece was transferred over to famed artist Marc Elkins. It is a shame, but sadly during very poor transit care, the great work R.L. Bleecker did to it originally (other than mount placements) was lost as it had completely broken into the pieces it started as. Therefore this is an entirely NEW build from the same parts. Marc’s amazing use of paint on this piece really makes it shine. He even has the outer paint worn down to resemble what would be the bare metal of the beast! Then actual damage was added to cover poor casting areas (bubbles) of the first gen casts that gave this piece the extra realism it begged for! He even kept the cockpit fuselage movable as it should be!! This is a beautiful addition to the collection that everyone can view and appreciate. Fantastic job Marc!
For photographing this piece I used the Canon Rebel XTi. The model was photographed against the professional Blue Screen foam material created and sold by www.eefx.com . The lighting used were three (muted) 500 watt bright white (blue) bulbs.
Enjoy!
