I received a fantastic, and very anticipated shipment last week of the beautiful Studio Scale RED LEADER X-Wing that professional Modeler R.L. Bleecker built for the Collection. This piece is fantastic and highly detailed to replicate the filming model. Using the amazing MSLZ22, V3 Kit that is currently out of production, Robert did this piece the justice it deserved. Of all the X-Wing filming miniature paints schemes… THIS one is my favorite. Thank you for a fantastic job Robert!

For the Blue Screen photos, I used a Canon Rebel XTi with the ISO set to 160 and the F-Stop number set to 25. I used the 12 foot X 12 foot chroma key BLUE foam/neoprene back drop from eefx.com…. and three 500 watt Eiko Supreme BLUE Photoflood Bulbs to replicate that ‘Star Wars” lighting look that we all know so well. It has been so long (over a year) since I actually have taken time to photograph a model that I nearly forgot how to do so! I will be remedying that with all the new builds that are coming through Modeler’ Miniature’s and Magic.
