I was in contact with artist Dan Grumeretz a few months ago and he informed me of this fantastic project that he and Randy Johnson (KORBANTH) are making. Full sized DROIDS! You know I am going nuts over these!

Here is what Dan has to say…

“Here are the details on the R2. Randy Johnson aka Korbanth or Sith Planet is the guy putting these together. He is the one who is offering the Star Destroyer Bridge model on your site.

On R2 I help with paint, electronics and some assembly. He has a guy that made the master and makes the parts. Custom requests can be accommodated. I attached two other color versions (R2-A6 and R2-Q5) we did, those are from the old version molds and not as clean or accurate as this new one.
