Master Replica Studio Scale Millennium Falcon Blue Screen Photos

Here are more photos from 2007. Since these photos were taken, this piece was sold in 2013 and is now in the Richard Sung Collection in Hong Kong. The 32 inch (Studio Scale) Millennium Falcon – Harrison Ford Signature Edition. One of the most known models in the Star Wars universe of fandom, and a personal “grail” piece for myself. When  Master Replicas announced they were going to release a Falcon replica to the public, it was thought it could not be done in a cost effective way due to the many parts involved, as well as it’s immense size. Partnering up with several very well known artists in this industry, (whose works we have shown here on MMM), Master Replicas was able to reproduce this famous model. The piece you see in the photograph has the original mass production paint job straight out of the box. It was noted that this one was painted by whom is referred to as “The Pok-a-dot King” due to the many black dots he placed upon the model. Today, obtaining one of these is quite costly. Though the DeAgostini release (two years ago through subscription) offered an even more detailed version of this model that everyone could build, the MR Falcon will always be the original. I miss this model. Of note: Even without the lower Cannon, (as MR placed the stand there) it is beautiful.
