I was contacted about a month ago by a gentleman whom wanted a Colonial Viper to set on his desk that he may admire from time to time. Being that the Studio Scale Viper Kits are no longer being produced, finding someone will to part with one proved challenging. However, being that the old Monogram, now Revell release is such a fantastic plastic model, it stood to reason that a professional build of it would be perfect for this person. Artist Marc Elkins just happened to have one… and was then commissioned for the build. Here today you see the final result of that build….FANTASTIC!! This again goes to show everyone that you don’t necessarily need a studio scale model to have a fantastic display. The client wanted it to be Apollo’s Viper…. and pretty beat up. Marc did his usual excellence in his work….even adding the tiny Cylon Kill symbols on the hull! I absolutely know the client is thrilled.
