I have the great pleasure of introducing another great artist to this Gallery. From the U.K.,…. artist Ryan Coombes! This artist has blown my mind with this amazing machined aluminum working model of the ROBOCAIN from Robocop 2! Even the screen where the face shows works! Absolute beautiful work by artist Ryan Coombes! I am looking forward to what next he comes forward with!

Here is what Ryan has to tell of this fantastic piece…

I made this model of the baddie robot “Cain” form Robocop 2, it took 600 hours over 14 months. I made every part from scratch out of aluminium and some delrin from picture references. The original puppet form the film is only 1/12 scale, but I wanted something a bit more impressive so I made him 1/6th, he stands about 45cm tall. I have a small mill and lathe that I have learned to use over the last 3/4 years. My job is in computing and I have never had and engineering training.
