Just like the original plan for ILM to build the X-Wings from Star Wars as BLUE Squadron rather than the RED they turned into, professional modeler Kenny Alasandro built Blue 5 from the amazing MSLZ22 kit! This piece is absolutely beautiful and I can now see why ILM chose to go with the RED due to the Blue Screen process used back thenโฆas huge blocks in the wings would have been challenging to film without disappearing into the blue background! Seeing this fantastic build in Blue really takes me back as Kenny captured itโs look perfectly!
